New Design… again…

As you can no doubt tell, the design has changed… again. Yes, yes, I know… I’m fickle.

I decided to eschew my original design I created for a rather snazzy design called Statement, this theme is provided for free by the folk at BlogOhBlog. They have a pretty nice selection of free themes as it happens, go check them out if you have a WordPress blog of your own.

I mainly swapped to a different theme due to lack of time. My own theme kept needing tweaks here and there and I’m a notorious procrastinator, this way I can spend my time outside of WoW blogging about WoW, rather than fixing my theme…

I’m also going to try and make proper use of the More… tag to keep larger posts from keeping the front page stretching forever, this way I can also write a lot more without worrying about the size of the posts.

New Comment System

I’ve altered the comment system on the site to use a system called IntenseDebate, IntenseDebate is a community-based comments system that allows for comment rating and user reputations. This excerpt is taken from the site:

Ultimately, this is largely an experiment, from my little play around with it, the features are nice, being able to rate up or down good and bad comments as well as having a reputation that builds up based on those comments are pretty cool things.

If however, people don’t like it then I can quite easily return to the default system with any new comments that are made intact.

So, use that as an excuse to post comments!!!
