Twigleaf in Terrokar
Twigleaf is currently level 64, questing in Terokkar Forest having helped out the Kurenai in Zangarmarsh before heading to the strangely tranquil, but eerie glade.
When I first played the WoW free trial I played a Night Elf hunter, I was drawn to that class not only because of it’s ranger roots but because of the pet. The hunters ability to tame up to three pets (using the stables) each able to fill a specific role gives the hunter some personality and individuality and versatility that most other classes lack. So when we re-rolled on Burning Steppes-EU I decided to create a Hunter as my first character.
Twiggers has been specced Beast Mastery from the beginning and since hitting 50 has been putting points into Marksmanship. Once she hits 70 I might respec into Marksmanship with some points in Survival but I’m not certain yet. I’ve been happy with how Beast Mastery feels so far in both PvP and PvE so I need to experiment a bit once I hit the level cap.
I’m fairly happy with how her gear is looking at this stage although I do have the luxury of not having to worry about having multiple sets of gear like a Warrior, Pally, Druid or Shaman but I haven’t been going out of my way to obtain gear so far. It’s mostly all quest reward gear. I’ll likely get Arena Season 1 gear once I hit 70 and gem it for PvE as it’s a much easier way to get geared initially even with the redundant resilience.
Sadly I still haven’t ran that many Outland instances so far, Burning Steppes-EU seems to be heavily skewed more Horde than Alliance, with most Alliance being at 70. This makes queuing for regular Hellfire Citadel/Coilfang Reservoir instances almost pointless while levelling. Sadly both servers I’ve played on have been like this, Silvermoon-EU and Burning Steppes-EU.
I have been having a LOT of fun with Twiggers, I’m enjoying Outland more than I did with my Mage on Silvermoon, not sure why yet…. that’s another blog entry I think….
I currently have 400g of the roughly 900g needed for my regular flying mount at 70. A long way still lies ahead for her, and me!
