Heroes and Issue 10
So, I sat through all 23 episodes (within 28 hours…) from the first season of Heroes and I have to say I thought it was really cool. The Sci-Fi Channel has been showing it in the UK and The BBC will be airing the first season starting sometime in July (Wikipedia has a date of July 25th) on BBC2 (The BBC have got exclusive rights to the second season).
I really enjoyed the show, especially due to the way it weaves normal people and situations with quirky and pseudo-realistic depictions of superpowers. The teleporting/time-travelling Japanese programmer Hiro Nakamura in particular blends comedy and serious moments particularly well.
If you haven’t seen it before then you should definitely check it out.
Season two starts in the US in late September. Also due to start in September is season seven of Smallville, with the introduction of Kara (aka Supergirl). All in all it’s looking like a good Superhero-filled Autumn/Winter.
In other news, NCSoft/Cryptic have released a trailer for Issue 10: Invasion on GameVideos…
