Patch 2.2.2 and You!
The US servers underwent maintenance today to coerce voice chat onto the remaining US servers as well as integrate patch 2.2.2.
(Although there were some issues with either 2.2.2 or activating the remaining chat servers as there was an hour and a half-ish extension to the US maintenance period)
The first batch of EU servers (15 English, 25 German) will be getting voice chat as well as patch 2.2.2 during tomorrow’s weekly maintenance period (from 2am BST to 10am BST).
So what does this mystical patch include?
Predominantly the content for the new Brewfest festival and the revised Hallow’s End event but it also includes new graveyards in a lot of Old World zones. This should make questing and grinding much nicer, keeping those graveyard runs shorter is always good!
Specifically, the following have been added (taken from the Patch Notes here):
- Added a new graveyard to the Southern Barrens.
- Added a new graveyard to the Western Plaguelands.
- Added a new graveyard to the Alterac Mountains.
- Added a new graveyard to the Searing Gorge.
- Added a new graveyard to the Badlands.
- Added two new graveyards to Tanaris.
- Added two new graveyards to Winterspring.
- Added two new graveyards to Stonetalon.
- Added two new graveyards to Un’Goro.
Silvermoon (the server that myself and Bocakey play on) is amongst the first batch of EU servers to get voice chat so I’ll give my verdict on it later tomorrow.
