Beer, Beer, BeerFEST!

Brewfest is here, running from the 2nd October (It only started today due to it being patch day, from now on it’ll be from the 2nd) through to the 16th October is your chance to earn lederhosen, eat sausages and drink copious amounts of booze… and get a riding ram of course!
I’ve completed all the Brewfest quests on both my characters now, well, all except “Bark for the Barleybrews” but that quest is currently broken 
. I really enjoyed them all.
Two of the quests involve getting completely drunk, so you can see “invisible” creatures. “Catch the Wild Wolpertinger!” involves getting drunk then throwing a re-castable net over Wolpertingers. Your reward, your very own “invisible” Wolpertinger ([item]32233[/item]). “Pink Elekks On Parade” involves rotting your liver so you can see pink elekks (for those who don’t know Warcraft, Elekks are basically Elephants) to zap with an Elekk Dispersion Ray.
Another fun quest is “There and Back Again” which involves riding a special racing ram between two points, collecting and delivering kegs of beer. What makes the quest fun is that the mount has a speed mechanic, a set of reins that speed you up, you have a fatique meter though so you can’t just go full speed else you virtually stop for 15 seconds. Apple baskets along the route empty your fatigue.
There are a couple of other quests but the bulk of what you do over the two weeks of Brewfest is “Bark for the Barleybrews” and “There and Back Again” as these are daily quests. Combine those with the hourly Dark Iron Dwarf attacks and you have a good time-waster.
Oh yeah, the rewards. In exchange for tickets, which you get for attacking Dark Iron Dwarfs and doing quests, you can get some interesting rewards. The one most people want is the Brewfest mount, [item]33976[/item] or [item]33977[/item].

Even with the borked quest, I hope to get enough tickets to get everything, Blizzard ARE aware of the issues so hopefully they’ll get fixed soon-ish in a hotfix.
